The Sword In the Stone by mofurgi The Sword In the Stone by mofurgi
I love these old movies! They just don't get enough love! This is one of my favorites, The Sword In The Stone, made in 1963.

Drawn on the flight from OKC to Detroit on the way to Italy from a little pic on my phone.

Arthur/Wart is from Disney's The Sword In The Stone

Sir Ector: (amazed) Well, by Jove.
Knight: What's the boy's name?
Sir Ector: Wart...oh...I mean Arthur.
Knight: Hail king Arthur!
Knights and civilians: Hail king Arthur!  Long live the king!
Archimedes: (amazed) (chuckles) I can't believe it!

Knight: (surprised) The sword in the stone?  It CAN'T be!
Sir Ector: (pointing at the inscription) But look!  It is!
Pellinore: (amazed and surprised) It's the marvelous sword!

Archimedes: (nervous) Better leave it alone.
Wart: But Kay's got to have a sword!
(Wart, in a hurry, pulls the sword out of the stone)
